Bhandari is an electrical engineer who studies both technical and social side of an electron. He is a native of Nepal, has an undergraduate degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Kathmandu University (KU) in Nepal, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Minnesota. Broadly he has worked in energy and environmental sectors. Currently, he is examining the broader areas that shape energy and environmental sectors like: a) interaction energy/environmental taxes with power systems; b) market diffusion of combined heat and power; c) EVs for demand response; and d) generation and transmission applications.
