Theja Tulabandhula is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He works in the area of data analysis and optimization.
His research tries to understand hidden patterns and associations in data sets from a wide variety of fields. Ultimately, this knowledge can lead to intelligent computing machines.
Prior to being selected for the International Fulbright Science & Technology Award, Theja received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering in India at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He was also a recipient of the Prime Minister of India’s Gold Medal during his graduation year. Theja hopes to return to India and contribute to the growing scientific expertise of his homeland.
