Puripant Ruchikachorn

profilepicruchikachornpuripantPuripant is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. As an International Fulbright Science & Technology Fellow, he investigates interactive computer graphics, with a particular interest in user interface design for novice users to model everyday objects. Born in Thailand, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Tokyo under the auspices of a Japanese Government Scholarship. His Master’s thesis was on sketch-based user interface for knot design. Subsequently, he returned to Thailand and taught Business Information Technology courses in the Department of Statistics at his undergraduate university.
