JJ is a clinical pharmacologist with solid pharmacy practice who is passionate about optimally designed (pediatric) clinical trials and effective sharing of clinical data. Her research goals are directed towards development of model-based approaches to better describe and understand important factors influencing drug disposition and response that can facilitate defining a safe and effective dose or dosing algorithm in special populations, particularly in pediatrics. She is trained with experts in applied quantitative pharmacology. Her projects include pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics and disease progression modeling and simulations, in which she has developed her skill sets in pharmacometrics-related software programs such as NONMEM, PsN, MONOLIX, MATLAB, Phoenix WinNonlin, and R.
