Currently,  his research direction focuses on exploring privacy challenges for Internet of Things (IoTs) with a special focus on designing privacy-aware systems. In his PhD dissertation, he looked at how different smartphone sensors can be exploited to uniquely fingerprint smartphones and thereby enable publishers to track users across applications/websites without their awareness.  His research also focused on devising deployable countermeasures against such surreptitious fingerprinting techniques.
